Exploring El Nido Town
Good morning and welcome to another unreal day in paradise. The kind of morning where you step outside, look at the view, and seriously question whether you’re ever going back home.
The sea below was already alive—people swimming, crystal‑clear water shimmering in the sunlight. I hadn’t jumped in yet, but it was definitely happening at some point today. I’d already tested the pool early in the morning, running on very little sleep once again.
Sleep? Still a Myth
Jet lag continues to win. Waking up around 2–3 a.m. has become normal at this point. We went to bed early the night before—around 8:00 p.m.—fully committed to staying awake… and still fell asleep almost instantly. It is what it is.
MTV Cribs: Resort Edition
Before heading out, it was only right to give a quick villa tour.
Two beds (no, they’re not getting pushed together), a clean and stylish bathroom setup, robes ready to go, and lighting that somehow makes even the most basic moments feel premium. Then there’s the shower—designed to feel like the outdoors brought inside. Easily one of the standout features.
And the throne? Positioned with a view that honestly makes you pause. Ridiculous. Absolutely stunning.
At this point, the temptation to cancel real life entirely was strong.
Rolling Out in Style
Our ride for the day arrived: the tricycle chariot. Simple, loud, and perfect. Destination: El Nido Town.
Exploring El Nido Town
El Nido Town is lively—busy streets, constant movement, and that organized chaos you only really understand once you’re in it. Crossing the road alone is an experience. There’s a method to it, and once you learn it, you’re in.
Mountains rise in the distance, towering over the town and reminding you exactly where you are. The scenery hits from every angle.
One of the main missions was checking out El Nido Bakery, which has been making the rounds on TikTok. Another classic case of TikTok influence—but sometimes it’s worth following the hype.
Beach Club Reset
Eventually, the day slowed right back down.
I found myself settled into a hammock-style chair at a beach club, drink in hand. Beer for me. Mojito for her—standard order. The views were unreal. One of those moments where everything goes quiet, even though there’s music playing and people around.
Just sitting there, taking it all in, knowing this is exactly where you’re meant to be.
Another day done. Another reminder that this place doesn’t miss.
